- A general essay about yourself and why you want to attend college.
- An email address dedicated only to colleges and scholarships.
- A list of colleges that you want to visit and apply to.
- Teachers, community members, coaches, club sponsors, etc. that you want a recommendation letter from. ALWAYS provide them with a copy of your resume and follow up with a thank you note.

The Jefferson State Singers currently have full-tuition scholarships available for the 2019-2020 academic year. Auditions are open to ALL students, regardless of your major course of study and is required to be considered for a scholarship.
Friday, April 5, 2019 and Saturday 6, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. at the Jefferson Campus. Friday, April 19, 2019 and Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 8:30 to 3:20 p.m. at the Shelby Campus.

Application PeriodOpens – December 3, 2018 – 12:01 am/CST Closes – February 28, 2019 – 11:59 pm/CST The Jefferson State Student Ambassador Organization is a prestigious group of individuals that serve as official hosts and hostesses for our college and community. Acceptance into this organization is based on an interview process, completed application, and evaluation from selection committee. Each candidate that submits a completed application will be notified of the status of his or her application, and if he or she is selected for an interview. Students who are chosen as Ambassadors may receive a scholarship (includes tuition and fees) for up to TWO academic years (SIX semesters). Application ProcessDEADLINE for Application is February 1, 2019. Ambassadors will be chosen by a selection committee based on some of the following criteria: application, interview, GPA, leadership skills, interest in student involvement, and future goals.
