2016 ALCAC FEE WAIVER PROGRAM
The colleges listed below will waive their application fee during the week of October 31- November 4, 2016 Alabama A & M University Alabama State University Auburn University at Montgomery Concordia College (Selma) Jacksonville State University Judson College* Marion Military Institute Selma University Spring Hill College Stillman College Troy University** Tuskegee University University of West Alabama St. Vincent's St. Clair is the first of the local scholarships to open. The applicant MUST be planning to enroll in a program of health care or related studies in an accredited Alabama school.
Lois Pickard Music Scholarship Application
2016 Lois Pickard Finalists: Lydia Newton (2nd-Violin), Nathan Stephenson (1st - Brass/Winds) Raymond Tsai - 2016 Competition Winner (1st - Strings),Hannah Bostick (2nd - Brass/Winds) Dina Kasman (1st - Piano), Fion Chang (2nd - Piano) Since 1998, the SVC has sponsored an annual music competition for talented students from age 12 through high school senior. Named in honor of the founding member of the volunteer organization for the ASO, the Lois Pickard Music Scholarship has awarded over $83,650 to winners in three competition categories. The 1st and 2nd place winners of each category perform at the annual luncheon The Lois Pickard Competition is open to serious and gifted musician ages 12 to Senior in High School. Students of strings, brass, winds, percussion and piano are eligible to enter in one category only.
